Who is STARS, again?

Small Town and Rural Seniors [STARS] is an organizing project designed and led by Wisconsin seniors  citizens who have been coming together in their communities to make Wisconsin a better place to age.

What’s the Town Hall?

On July 25, 1-3, at the Ho-Chunk Convention Center in Baraboo, we will be uniting older adults from all across our state to put our issues directly to every candidate for Governor: nursing home care, transportation, housing, care workers, food security, dementia care, and more.

The Town Hall will be a nonpartisan event. We want everyone to hear and respond to what we have to say. And all candidates have been invited to participate.

It’s a free event. Come ready to be heard.

Can I Get a Ride?

Need a ride? Buses will be arriving from the north and south the morning of the Town Hall. Seats are limited, first come first served. A free-will donation will be taken to tip the bus driver. Please register to save your seat and indicate that you’ll be riding the bus.
